Terms of Service

    MyDreams is a product of Inner Exploration Labs™ ("Inner Exploration Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of MyDreams (the "Service").

    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

    2. Description of the Service

    MyDreams is a dream journaling application designed to support personal reflection, self-discovery, and wellness. The Service provides tools for recording dreams, exploring patterns, and receiving personalized insights informed by Jungian psychology and contemplative traditions.

    The Service is intended for personal insight and reflection only. It does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic services.

    3. Account Registration

    • You must create an account to use the Service.
    • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
    • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
    • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

    4. Subscription and Billing

    • New users may explore the Service during a 7-day free trial with full access to features. No credit card is required to start the trial.
    • After the trial period ends, continued access and data preservation require a paid subscription.
    • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select.
    • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal.
    • Subscription fees are non-refundable. The free trial is provided so you can evaluate the Service before committing.

    5. Data Retention and Deletion

    Trial Users

    If you use MyDreams during the free trial and do not subscribe, your dreams and conversations will be retained for up to 7 days after the trial ends. After this period, all trial data will be permanently deleted.

    Subscribers

    Your dreams, analyses, and conversation history are stored while you maintain an active subscription. If your subscription lapses or expires without renewal, your data will be retained for 90 days, after which it will be permanently deleted. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before deletion so you have the opportunity to resubscribe.

    All Users

    • If you delete individual dreams or conversations, those items are removed immediately and are no longer used by the Service.
    • If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed without delay.

    6. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
    • Interfere with the normal operation of the Service
    • Share your account credentials with others
    • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

    7. Content Ownership

    You retain ownership of all dream content you submit to the Service. By using MyDreams, you grant a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing analysis, insights, and related features.

    We do not claim ownership of your personal dream content, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.

    8. Generated Content Disclaimer

    The analyses, insights, and guidance provided by MyDreams are intended for personal reflection and wellness support. They are not a substitute for professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice.

    If you are experiencing significant emotional distress or mental health concerns, we encourage you to seek support from a qualified healthcare professional.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    The Service is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyDreams shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

    Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

    10. Modifications to the Service

    We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. When changes are significant, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

    11. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. In rare circumstances, accounts may also be closed due to extended inactivity or operational necessity. When feasible, we will provide notice before taking such action.

    Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and data handling will follow the retention policies described above.
